NEUROREDACER WORKING METHOD

Most centers have an ‘interdisciplinary’ way of working, which means that all professionals (Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, etc.) work together searching for a common goal. However, in NeuroRedacer we want to go a step beyond. We are a ‘transdisciplinary’ team, which means that the different disciplines overlap each other, searching for the maximum recovery as possible. To get this, the different professionals are not just trained in the most innovative concepts; they also teach each other between them, in such a way that everyone has basic notions of the rest of disciplines which are not their speciality.

It is focused on people who have suffered Brain Injury or any neurological injury: Stroke, traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebellar Ataxia, etc. Moreover, we offer an integral attention to people with dementia, problems associated with the age, or other neuro-degenerative processes.

Our working method is based on the integral and transdisciplinary approach, in such a way, we deal with every consequence of Bran Injury, included the social, functional and emotional effects. The work is developed by the coordinated action of the Professional Team in neurological rehabilitation, using technics of scientific efficacy and organizing the process around the needs and specific demands of each particular case.

Our only goal is that the patient could be able to recover his functional independence to restart his regular activities with the highest autonomy.

NEUROREDACER WORKING METHOD

1. Evaluation of the patient at the time of arriving to the centre

When the patient arrives here, our professionals make an evaluation in order to see the injury and the importance of it and they create a plan of intervention.

2. Personalised Rehabilitation Plan

We create the functional objectives, the activities that must be realised by the patient, the periods and the evaluation of the rehabilitation process for each patient in a personal way.

3.Transdisciplinary approach

Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Neuropsychologists and Psychologists are taking part in the neurorehabilitation. They work in a coordinated action in order to get the objectives.

4. Periodic reevaluation and meetings with the family

With the goal of analysing the progress and creating new objectives for the professional team.
